Amigos for Christ: Business for Transformation
Business for Transformation is a targeted income generation program that invests in the entire chain of the production and commercialization of organic fruits and vegetables, along with pork products to create sustainable small businesses that will result in the generation of 140 new jobs with an average annual income of $2,720 for farmers in Chinandega, Nicaragua.
Amigos for Christ: Plan 7 – Year 6
This was the 6th year of the Plan 7 Community Transformation program implementation in Chinandega, Nicaragua. This program served 8,151 beneficiaries throughout 25 separate communities in the areas of Water and Sanitation, Economic Development, Education, Health and Leadership Development. Within their Economic Development programming, there were 71% of families that achieved zero consumer debt.
Amigos for Christ: Water for Chinandega Year 3
This year the Water for Chinandega program aims to help 1,200 families to have 24-7 access to clean water and a clean water spigot in their home by the end of 2024 in Chinandega, Nicaragua. This program aims to increase the number of individuals with healthy urine density to 80% and see an 80% reduction in pathogenic parasites.
